First-year medical students will focus on introductory knowledge of how the human or animal body works. Degrees continue with advanced knowledge in internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry and surgery. This is followed by a specialization that you have decided to pursue as a career.

Medical and health students will attend supervised medical practices or practices, followed by a residency at a healthcare facility, where they will experience first-hand medical events and practices.
