The Bachelor of Hotel Management is based on industry-specific studies and a core of business and management subjects. Each year is divided into two semesters of 1 and 2 weeks; you will study six modules per semester.

The course is organized into three levels, ranging from introductory modules in year 1 to advanced topics in year 3. Internship training takes place between semesters four and five.

In the first and second year of the course there are several practical modules that include: Culinary Fundamentals; restaurant service; contemporary hospitality service and bar operations.

In the third year, there is an opportunity to manage a “pop-up” restaurant.

Course delivery

A learner-centered approach to learning is adopted whereby learners engage in tasks that they are likely to encounter in the real world.

Combining traditional methods with a blended approach (online), examples include group work, role play, case studies, practical assignments, guest lectures, site visits, problem-based learning.

Admission requirements
