It is a conversion program aimed at both professionals currently employed in the tourism industry and those with complementary backgrounds who wish to enter the field of tourism. In this context, it may be of particular interest to people who come from heritage, languages, geography, marketing, or business experience.

This program aims to equip participants with the necessary experience to manage, coordinate and develop tourism companies and projects in Ireland and abroad. It is aimed at both professionals active in the tourism industry and those in related fields. This dynamic program encourages interaction between academics and professionals from the national and international tourism industry.

Admission requirements

Applicants will require a baccalaureate degree officially translated into English.

Suitability test and interview.

Applicants must possess an honors-level bachelor’s degree (grade 2.2 or higher) or equivalent. Additionally, applicants may be required to complete an intake interview.

If English is not your first language, you will need to provide evidence of your proficiency in the English language as detailed on our website. Applicants for this program must have a minimum IELTS English proficiency (academic version) of 6.5 overall (or equivalent) with no less than 6 in each component.
