Greystone College’s Diploma in Hospitality Management program is an intensive diploma program specifically designed to meet the vast employment needs of both staff and management in the global tourism, hospitality, resort and convention markets.

Hospitality is one of the fastest growing industries and largest areas of employment in the world. Students will be prepared for a variety of positions in the hospitality industry in guest services, front desk operations, food and beverage, cleaning, event coordination, administration, and more.

Learning methods

Students who take the day program will follow the same course schedule every week for the entire 26-week program.
Students taking the Evening Program will begin their program with a 2-week Job Search Preparation Course prior to taking their first 6-week course. After each 6-week course, students take a 2-week break before starting their next course.

Program structure

In this course, students will learn the key principles of business communication, becoming aware of the different media and building effective strategies to collect and present information.

In this course, students will learn to adapt the style and layout of documents to their target audience, while respecting the organization’s policies regarding the integrity of documents.

In this course, students will learn the best approaches to establishing effective working relationships by valuing diversity and adhering to protocols.

This course is about the importance of customer expectations and how CRM influences customer experiences. Identify how an organization’s customer experience and perception can be beneficial or detrimental to its success. In this course of study, students will gain objective knowledge about what positively and negatively affects the customer experience.

This course teaches effective approaches to team management and communication within a team. Students will objectively observe the benefits and value of teamwork and learn about the importance and prominence of teamwork in the professional workplace. In this course, students will learn ways to support organizational goals through team projects and performance management.

In this course, students will learn strategies and techniques to establish and implement a personal professional development plan to strive for efficiency and effectiveness in business. Students will reflect on their personal self-awareness by assessing their values, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as their outlook on life. This will also help students set meaningful life and career goals, align with their goals more effectively, and understand themselves in relation to others.

In this course, students will prepare to bring their new skills and knowledge to the job market. Students will focus on defining their future goals and career aspirations, learning how to write effective resumes and cover letters, interview basics, and what employers are looking for. Students will complete the course feeling prepared to find work in their new field.

Admission requirements

  • Students interested in attending Greystone College must have a high school diploma, GED, or mature student status.
  • International students will require a Bachelor’s degree from their country of origin. The degree and grades must be officially translated into English.
  • All applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate an Intermediate 2 level of English with Greystone College’s online written and oral test.
  • All students must have their own device (tablet / phone / laptop) to access course materials through our Learning Management System (LMS).


The online written and oral test is exempt if TOEFL iBT 45, IELTS 4.5 or ILSC I2 is taken.
If an applicant does not meet the minimum requirements, neither the institution nor the student can waive him.
