Our BA (Hons) program in Film and Creative Media provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in mainstream and new media, by combining traditional communication and communication. media production skills, such as photography and video production, with a high level of training in multimedia production, process and design. The specific objectives of the program are:

Program structure

Year 1 is the development stage. Students will gain experience in audio and visual techniques.

Year 2 is the competent stage. Students will act more autonomously in the use of audio and visual techniques in creating a portfolio of creative projects.

Year 3 is the advanced stage. Students will carry out research and projects to produce a dissertation, giving them the opportunity to participate in detail with a topic of their choice.

Admission requirements

  • S according to the new scale of common points for the certificate of Completion of 2019, applicants must earn a minimum of 2H5 and 4 O6 / H7, including one language. Subjects must include math, Irish or other language, and English.
