The M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Systems is designed to produce graduates with a good theoretical and practical understanding of renewable energy technologies. The program critically investigates the energy production of wind, solar, ocean and biomass technologies from a technical and economic point of view.

Program Description

The main objective of the M.Sc. in Renewable Energy Systems is to train effective technical workers and engineers for a career in energy and, in particular, in renewable energy.
The program covers a minimum of three semesters, that is, it begins in September of the first year and ends in the following September (one calendar year).

Graduates can progress to research doctoral programs at DkIT or other institutions.

The M.Sc. The degree spans a minimum of three semesters. This includes two teaching semesters and one dedicated to thesis writing.

Admission requirements

  • A second-class honors degree (2.2) in a scientific or engineering discipline is the basic requirement. Candidates with alternative qualifications (officially translated into English) are also encouraged to apply. The degree and grades must be officially translated into English.
  • IELTS 6.5 or higher (or its internationally recognized equivalent).
