Work during your study time
We want your studies to fit perfectly into your life. That is why conferences for Master’s students are only held from Wednesday afternoon to Friday and sometimes Saturday night. That is, why is it possible for you to work part-time and study full-time more easily.
However, it is necessary to take into account the preparation and follow-up work, as this is a full-time study course per curriculum.
Courses, projects, semester abroad
The main skills required for sports, event and marketing management are the ability to communicate, think interdisciplinary, and lead a team. Additionally, International Sport Management is geared towards leadership roles in sport, while International Event Management focuses on planning and organizing roles. International Marketing Management complements these two subject areas.
To reinforce the vocational approach, the program was developed in conjunction with experts from Ernst & amp; Young (SCORE – Sports Consulting), with the participation of communication agencies. Therefore, you are equipped with in-depth knowledge and practical experience to launch your career.
In order to prepare you even more for the management tasks of companies that operate globally, an International Experience is integrated into your studies. To complete the International Experience successfully, one can choose from different elements on a modular principle, which could be in the form of a Summer / Winter School, a semester abroad, an internship or a student employee scheme. You will find more information during our informational events.

Study in the EU in Germany
We emphasize internationality. That is why we rank among the top 25 in student mobility and international orientation worldwide (U-Multirank 2018). Our many international students come from all over the world to obtain a highly valued German qualification (recognized by the state and ZEvA) which is taught entirely in English.
Germany, known as the land of innovators, is the perfect place to earn your degree. Germany is a particularly safe and livable country with relatively low tuition fees and affordable living costs.
That is why we encourage international students to come here and study with us. You can apply with your national school degree now. We will then review your application and guide you through the process.
As a private university, we are not funded by the state, but by tuition fees. Therefore, studying at the European University of Applied Sciences (EU) costs more than at a public university. But it’s worth it: EU graduates meet the essential requirements of design majors, and this sets them apart from graduates of many public universities.
All costs are included in the monthly tuition.
No additional costs such as tuition fees, exam fees, bachelor thesis fees or the like will be incurred as long as the course is completed within the standard study period.
The costs of the semester abroad are not included in these fees, since there are substantial differences depending on the country and the university.
Students must meet the following requirements to qualify for a master’s program:
- Completion of a German Bachelor, Diploma or Magister
- Final grade of “Good” (GPA: 2.5), otherwise a letter of recommendation from the previous university
- Focus on business within your previous studies (alternatively, you can attend preliminary courses)
- Good English language skills (at least B2 level)
- Interview in English
