Program structure

Admission requirements

CAO applicants must meet the basic enrollment requirements of a minimum of 5 grades, O6 / H7, including Math and Language.

FET applicants must have a QQI level 5 jackpot.

International applicants who have not applied for access to this program through the CAO must present an equivalent qualification certified by NARIC Ireland.

For mature applicants (ie 23 years or older), applications will be assessed individually for suitability through Dorset College’s “Recognition of Prior Learning” policy.

English language requirements

Candidates whose first language is not English must meet the admission criteria of IELTS 6.0 / B2 + CEFR or equivalent.
