The Certificate IV in International Trade course covers a wide range of skills and knowledge required to work in international trade / business at a variety of levels. Topics include international transfer of services and international freight transport; research of international business opportunities and markets; commercialization of goods and services at the international level; obtain specialized permits for the import and export of goods; understand international legal requirements for trade; forecast of the international market and commercial needs; and promotion of products and services in international markets.

In all our programs, you will build a schedule that combines 14 hours a week in class and 6 hours a week of online study. The online study component includes exercises, forum discussion, and resources to help with assignments and to provide fundamental academic and learning skills.
Class study schedules combine core lessons with core skills and PASS classes. You must attend both conferences as each conference covers different content.
PASS classes are a practical assessment Support sessions. In PASS classes, you will meet with your teacher to discuss any questions you may have about studies or assessments.
Foundation Skills sessions help you develop language and other business skills. You will learn to speak and present ideas with confidence. Topics include: conducting meetings, writing business emails, negotiating, and giving presentations.
- A general Australian Year 10 equivalent is required to enter. A prior practical knowledge of a business environment would be helpful
- International students must meet a minimum language requirement of IELTS 5.5 with a minimum band score of 5.0. TOEIC 650 with a minimum reading score of 350. Direct entry is available through ILSC Intermediate 3 and above
- Students must be at least 18 years old at the beginning of studies
