Our master’s course offers the opportunity to advance in the construction industry. Graduates of our master’s course have noted improvements in salaries, greater prospects for promotion, and the ability to transfer their skills across a variety of technical, managerial, and design careers. Recruiting companies such as Hays and Brightwater are confirming that the demand for construction professionals is increasing, and rising salaries reflect a shortage of properly qualified personnel.

The program ensures that students have a thorough understanding of the underlying theories, key concepts, and technologies within the built environment discipline area. Graduates will be able to analyze the complex contemporary challenges and problems in the management of the built environment and integrate and apply this knowledge to formulate creative and innovative solutions. They will develop critical thinking skills within their discipline and demonstrate the ability to bring their expertise to bear on real world problems and challenges in the built environment in Ireland and abroad. They will be equipped to lead, develop and manage within a range of built environment organizations.

Students in this program will also have the opportunity to develop advanced research skills that would allow them to earn further grades at NFQ Level 10.
