The course is designed to enhance the student’s capabilities in user experience (UX), strategic design thinking acumen, user-centered clarity and innovation. Graduates will gain knowledge of user experience design and innovation processes, visual communication skills, along with insight into consumer behaviors.

Typical applicants will include graduates with experience in technical development and digital design, current employees from the multinational and SME sectors in technical and digital design capacity, as well as unemployed graduates looking to enhance their skills.

Admission requirements

Standard applicants will submit a qualification recognized by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) at level 8 in the National Qualifications Framework or equivalent. Applicants may also be eligible to apply on the basis of recognition of prior learning (PRL) if they have achieved the appropriate experience and achievement thresholds considered equivalent to a Level 8 award.
