This four-year program focuses on creating and studying games. Covers game design, including mobile, console, PC, board, card, serious, and experimental games.

Topics include in-depth game analysis, hands-on development experience, and game theory studies. Along the way, you’ll also learn important skills in programming, digital media creation, problem solving, usability, project management, production, and teamwork. You will develop a deep understanding of the concepts, theories, and models about the study of game design and how they can be applied to entertainment and non-entertainment uses.

You will be able to analyze and determine multiple approaches to game design, mechanics, controls and the context in which they are used. You will use advanced skills from specialized areas to achieve goals, including designing and implementing complex game systems, documenting the design process, testing, and implementing the resulting games.

You can also apply game design techniques to solve real-world problems.

During the program, you will also create and release at least ten games to the public and design hundreds more, from board games to mobile and desktop games.
