Program Description

All industrial sectors require Mechanical Engineering. Graduates must be adaptable and familiar with state-of-the-art technology. Enterprise placement

Placement is supervised by DkIT teachers to support the student and ensure that the learning experience is relevant to the Learning Outcomes of the program.

This course provides the foundation for transfer routes to honors degree courses at other Institutes of Technology and Universities in Ireland and abroad.

Note: Students who have successfully completed the first two years of this course and wish to leave after two years can receive a Level 6 Higher Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Systems.

  • Applicants will require a baccalaureate degree officially translated into English
