Throughout the program, you will cover the essential concepts of health management, including leadership and decision-making, health strategy, operations management, health economics, information technology, and methods. research. In addition, you will learn to apply business and management concepts to the international health management sector. The Master of International Health Management has been designed in order to provide the necessary knowledge and experience to managers and leaders of the health sector. The emphasis is on health management in an international and local setting, and the program draws on an emerging body of knowledge and evidence to allow comparisons between different countries.

You will also join an international community of health management students, academics, and professionals around the world, giving you the opportunity to excel in the health sector.

Plus, BSBI’s blended study mode means you’ll have the flexibility to adjust the course to your schedule, including work and family responsibilities. You will earn a Master’s degree in Italian with 90 European University Credits (ECTS).

Program structure

During its first three academic terms, the Master in International Health Management will cover key topics such as Health Organization Management, Decision Making, Planning and Leadership, Socio-economic Research in Health Services, Financial and Economic Management of Health Organizations and more.

In the final term, you will research and prepare a dissertation on a topic of your choice.

The modules of this program are offered through the blended learning method. Students will attend the modules online through the UNINETTUNO University platform and in person at the BSBI campus in Berlin.

During the online modules, students will have the opportunity to attend in-person extracurricular seminars. In addition, they will be able to access the online version of the modules they will attend on campus. In this way, a holistic approach is achieved.

After completing the Master of International Health Management, you will be able to apply for a variety of managerial roles in international healthcare organizations.

Admission requirements

  • Minimum age: 21
  • Academic qualifications:
    • A three-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution in a related discipline.

If you do not have a Bachelor’s degree, but have another academic qualification such as an HND or Level 5 Diploma and / or professional experience, you can also apply. Your acceptance may be subject to successfully passing an entrance test and interview.

  • English language requirements:
    • IELTS – minimum score of 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component), or;
    • PTE: minimum score of 50 or equivalent.
  • English proficiency requirements may not apply in the following cases: *
    • Native English Speakers, or;
    • Applicants who completed their education in English (such as a high school diploma or IB), or;
    • Applicants who completed their Bachelor’s degree in English in an English-speaking country.
