Get the flexibility to choose between a 3-year program or a 4-year program (with the Foundation Diploma) when you earn your Bachelor of Economics and Business Administration. Learn the fundamental business principles and required topics for the global business environment, such as economics, accounting, information systems, business law, human resources, and marketing.

Taking the four-year course includes the foundation year where students from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, a broad base of subject knowledge that will introduce them to practical skills, research techniques, and ways of thinking that have traditionally been outside of its scope.

In this bachelor’s program, you will cover a multidisciplinary range of subjects to develop your knowledge in areas such as finance, marketing, human resources, and much more. You will have ample opportunity to work with your tutors and fellow students to discuss topics and work on interactive projects.

The additional foundation year (if you choose to choose the four-year program) gives students the opportunity to grow academically and personally in a college setting. This allows students more time to reinforce and supplement existing understanding and realize their full potential over the course of the four-year degree.

You will learn in well-equipped classrooms with access to all the resources necessary for your studies, including textbooks, business journals, online lectures, and much more. Additionally, all students have access to the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which has many electronic resources. You will also participate in experience field trips and hands-on workshops.

All students have the option of learning the German language.

The three- and four-year program options are designed for those seeking to enhance their practical business knowledge and skills.

The basic one-year diploma included in the four-year will get you up to speed in terms of technical and industry skills, therefore you will be ready for the next three years of your bachelor’s degree.

The four-year program option has been designed for international students hailing from non-English speaking countries with the goal of gaining the knowledge, skills, and tools to be successful in a Bachelor’s degree. Proactive and ambitious students interested in acquiring practical knowledge in economics and business are ideal candidates for the four-year degree.

After successful completion of the Bachelor of Economics and Business Administration program, students will have opportunities to work in areas such as banking, finance, and accounting.

Additionally, graduates of this program can apply for exemptions from the relevant professional exams from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Students in this program can also become student members of the Institute of Management.

Program structure

Most of your work will be completed in groups and ongoing support will be provided through the use of structured and targeted individual tutorials and online tutorials.

The learning and teaching will consist of a variety of elements such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, animated / non-animated video, practical work, seminars and trips. The assessment strategy will include individual / group reports and / or presentations, case studies, essays, portfolio development, reflection journals, and activities based on work experience.

The modules of this program are offered through the blended learning method. Students will attend the modules online through the UNINETTUNO University platform and in person at the BSBI campus in Berlin.

Admission requirements

Bachelor’s Program with Foundation Diploma

  • Minimum age: 17 years (degrees awarded after completing at least 11 years of schooling)
  • Academic qualifications: NARIC equivalent to GCSE
  • English language requirements: IELTS – minimum score of 5.0 (minimum of 4.5 in each component); PTE: minimum score of 42 or equivalent. English proficiency requirements may not apply to: native English speakers and applicants who completed their education in English (such as a high school diploma or IB).

Bachelor’s program

  • Minimum age: 18 years (degrees awarded after completing at least 12 years of schooling)
  • Academic qualifications: a certificate of completion of studies that allows you to pursue higher studies in Germany (for example, Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or certificates of completion of international studies, or BTEC / National Diploma or Certificate of advanced vocational education
  • English Language Requirements: IELTS – minimum score of 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component), PTE – minimum score of 50 or equivalent. English proficiency requirements may be waived for: native English speakers and applicants who completed their education in English (such as a high school diploma or IB)

If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and / or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
