Designed with future business leaders in mind, the BSc program will equip you with relevant skills and encourage you to use your creativity to solve complex business problems.

You will have the option to choose between the three or four year International Road program. The four-year International Path program includes a foundation year that will introduce you to the fundamentals of creative business and management while preparing you to use the English language in academic work.

The Berlin School of Business and Innovation is associated with the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), a Gold Standard institution under the Teaching Excellence and Student Outcomes Framework (TEF). As a result of this partnership, BSBI is able to offer the BSc Business and Management program. UCA is an acclaimed creative institution in the UK that ranks high on the top three UK league tables. The university has also been ranked 13th out of all UK universities in the 2020 Guardian League Table; and was ranked # 7 in the 2021 Guardian League charts for business, management and marketing.

The scope of the program is broad, which means that you will develop skills and knowledge applicable in a variety of industries including fashion, music, cosmetics, and games. Students also have different options in terms of the scale of the organizations they will work for.

Program structure

Most of your work will be completed in groups and ongoing support will be provided through the use of structured and targeted individual tutorials and online tutorials.

The learning and teaching will consist of a variety of elements such as lectures, tutorials, workshops, animated / non-animated video, practical work, seminars and trips. The assessment strategy will include individual / group reports and / or presentations, case studies, essays, portfolio development, reflection journals, and activities based on work experience.

The modules in this program are offered through the blended learning method. Students will attend the modules online through the UNINETTUNO University platform and in person at the BSBI campus in Berlin.

Admission requirements

Foundation (International Route)

  • Minimum age 17 (degrees awarded after completing at least 11 years of schooling)
  • NARIC academic qualifications equivalent to GCSE

English language requirements

  • Academic IELTS: minimum overall score of 5.0 (with a minimum of 4.5 in each component) or equivalent test (i.e. Password Test, PTE, TOEFL IBT)
  • West African Certificates (WAEC and NECO only) with a minimum of C6 in English and issued within the last 5 years. The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) is also accepted with an overall grade of C or higher. For Tanzania and Cameroon, we request an IELTS (or equivalent certificate).
  • Citizens of a majority English-speaking country who have obtained their academic qualifications in that country do not need to take an English test (Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica , Malta, New Zealand, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, UK and USA.
  • The English language test can be waived and a letter of instruction on the medium can be sent if:
    • Applicants have obtained the NARIC recognized High School Certificate, where the medium of instruction was entirely in English (teaching and assessment)
    • you are a Canadian citizen who has completed studies at an English-speaking school / college / university

Bachelor’s degree (with honors):

  • Minimum age: 18 years (degrees awarded after completing at least 12 years of schooling)
  • Academic qualifications: a certificate of completion of studies that allows you to pursue higher studies in Germany (for example, Abitur, Fachhochschulreife, Matura or International Baccalaureate), or certificates of completion of international studies, or BTEC / National Diploma or Certificate of Advanced Professional Education.

If you do not meet the above academic requirements, applicants with professional qualifications and / or 4 or more years of full-time work experience will be considered on an individual basis.

English language requirements:

  • Academic IELTS: minimum overall score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or equivalent test (i.e. Password Test, PTE, TOEFL IBT)
  • The English language test can be waived and a letter of instruction on the medium can be sent if:
