The Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MAIE) from BSBI and Concordia University Chicago is designed to help students understand the challenges and opportunities that may arise when embarking on a new business venture or leading a period of change within an organization. The MAIE teaches people the skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced international environment.

The master’s program is made up of ten core modules designed to equip you with all the skills you will need to lead and grow a business. Some of the core courses include Strategy for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Social Media Marketing Communications, and Prototyping / Co-Design Solutions. Each module will increase your understanding of how to introduce the necessary components in your business for it to be successful.

The program also focuses on the needs of innovators who want to successfully commercialize an idea. Students will learn to do this by working on projects that are directly relevant to their work.

Outside of the program, BSBI also offers executive education courses lasting 5 days. The course is aimed at students who want to be leaders and teaches them how to motivate their staff, how to develop an appropriate leadership style, and how to communicate effectively with their team.

Admission requirements

  • Minimum age: 21
  • Academic qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally equivalent accredited institution in the US.
    • GPA obtained 2.25 or more
  • English language requirements:
    • IELTS – minimum score of 6.0, or;
    • 72 (Internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) – for these programs provided by CUC, the DI code is 1140, or;
    • Present proof of successful completion of level 112 in the English language.
    • PASSWORD minimum score of 6.0

International students who have obtained an advanced degree from an accredited institution in the United States, or students from an English-speaking international university (in which the lingua franca is English) do not need to submit scores in English.
