This program is taught using practical methods. All modules are designed to help you understand both theory and practice, so you understand the concepts and how to apply them in the workplace.

The master’s program covers a variety of core topics in finance and investment, such as financial analysis and corporate finance. You will develop a good understanding of how to be effective in this complex field and gain relevant workplace skills, making you a more efficient employee. You will also learn the best academic research methods to develop a good foundation should you decide to enter academia.

Additionally, you can tailor the program to your specific career ambitions with electives during your second semester.

All students have the option of learning the German language.

You will earn a Master’s degree in Italian with 90 European University Credits (ECTS).

Program structure

This program consists of three periods (10 weeks each) and a dissertation period (12 weeks).

During its first term, the Master of Finance and Investments will cover fundamental topics such as business and financial analysis, corporate finance, and financial markets. In the second and third trimesters, you will be able to choose from a variety of electives to guide your course of study towards the path most relevant to you.

Students will also attend modules on academic research methods, and will study the German language alongside their master’s subjects. In your final term, you will research and prepare a dissertation on a topic of your choice.

The modules of this program are offered through the blended learning method. Students will attend the modules online through the UNINETTUNO University platform and in person at the BSBI campus in Berlin.

The Master of Finance and Investments will prepare you for a variety of roles within the financial sector, such as an investment analyst, investment manager, and portfolio manager.

Admission requirements

  • Minimum age: 21
  • Academic qualifications:
    • Solid bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

If you do not meet the academic requirements, your relevant work experience may be evaluated. You must have at least 3 years of management experience.

  • English language requirements:
    • IELTS – minimum score of 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each component), or;
    • PTE: minimum score of 50 or equivalent.
  • English proficiency requirements may not apply in the following cases: *
    • Native English Speakers, or;
    • Applicants who completed their education in English (such as a high school diploma or IB), or;
    • Applicants who completed their Bachelor’s degree in English in an English-speaking country.
